The Maharajah is upon you!
A most fine blade of traditional Long leaf pattern, a common Nepal Army style. Probably influenced the later emerged Indian Dehradune style, frequently found around WW2. Two fullers on the bottom of the blades base and sharp edge. Minor signs of use on the top of the edge which would come back to normal once its properly sharpened. Chorten style kaudi.
Dark horn handle, water buffalo or rhino with some cream coloured stains which is usually found on the Kothimora handle.
Scabbard of dark dotted leather and silver chapes. Top mount with the Rana Maharaja´s Coat of Arms and bottom with peacock motive (most likely replaced).
I hope the Kukri will speak for itself, if you wonder anything, please feel free to write to us.
